Welcome and thank you for visiting Yoga Challo.

Yoga is unique, it has been known to help one on many levels, physically, mentally, spiritually and great for general well-being. It encourages connection between body, mind and breath. Whether you are thinking of doing yoga to increase flexibility, balance, find inner stillness, deepen your knowledge or just for fun, trust the process and enjoy!

My aim is to teach and help others develop a safe and confident Yoga practice. As you begin or continue your Yoga journey, I am here to support and guide you throughout the process and help you to reach your own goals.

A little bit about me…

My name is Deepa (Dee for short), I currently teach beginners, pregnancy and children’s yoga. Yoga is one area in my life that gives me something magical (I still feel I can’t truly explain it). The more I practice the more I want to deepen my practice but above all, I want to continue to share Yoga with others.

I started practicing Yoga several years ago, initially for fifteen minutes a day, leading to thirty which gradually increased to one hour and soon after feeling the benefits (better sleep, relief from migraines, increased flexibility) I developed an urge to learn more. From a young age I have always loved learning and teaching, relishing opportunities where I can continue to learn and grow.

As a former Assistant Headteacher, I truly believe learning never stops. After many great years in the profession I decided I was ready to embark on a new journey and divert/combine my teaching experience in a new way, to help, support and motivate others practice this moving meditation, a practice that gives one so much more beyond the mat, eventually Yoga Challo was born. In Hindi, Challo means ‘Let’s Go.’

Challo…and reap the benefits of Yoga.
